Privacy

This page explains what HoltDir Net keeps when you play on holtdir.net and when you use the shop. It covers a server that already has players, and the shop those players buy from.

In this browser

The shop stores your language, your basket, a Minecraft username you type, and, after you sign in, your username and coin balance. That stays in this browser on this device. It is not an account on a remote server, and it is not a password. The shop never asks for one.

Signing out removes the wallet from this browser. Clearing the site data removes the language and the basket as well. Another browser, or another device, starts empty.

On the server

When you join holtdir.net, the server has to know the Minecraft account that connected. Staff can see the name that is online, the public chat you send, and the builds you place. That is how a live server is moderated.

The IP address used to join can be kept long enough to run the server and to enforce a ban, a mute, or a report. Chat and punishment notes can be kept for the same reason. They are not sold, and they are not used to build an advertising profile.

Reports and tickets

If you report a player or appeal a punishment, the ticket can include the Minecraft name, the time, and what you say happened. A screenshot or a clip you attach stays with that ticket so staff can decide. Do not put another person's private life into a ticket.

Avatar

When the basket shows a Minecraft head, your browser loads that image from mc-heads.net with the username. That request is made by your browser to mc-heads.net.

Payment

Coin purchases use the balance stored in this browser. The coins are taken when you buy. Card numbers are not stored in the shop. When a card payment runs, the payment provider handles the card.

The shop keeps the Minecraft name the goods were bought for, and what was bought, so staff can deliver it on the server.

Discord

Discord is a separate service. If you join it or open a ticket, Discord processes your account under Discord's own terms. Staff read the ticket in order to answer it.

What this does not do

The shop does not sell your data. It does not run an ad profile. It does not ask for a password, an email, or a home address in order to play or to buy.

How long

Shop data stays in the browser until you sign out or clear it. Server notes that are needed for a ban or a report stay while that ban or that case still matters. A permanent ban can mean the name stays on the ban list.

Asking about your data

To ask what is held about a Minecraft name, or to ask for a correction, open a ticket with the staff.
